I like this style with black, white and grey. With cushions in a neutral color scheme and large poufs on the floor. It looks french or maybe moroccan but in the same way very scandinavian, maybe because of the filt.
The trendspotter Li Edelkoort says that 2012 we will go more for the Japanese style. Rough wood, light colors and concrete. This is a style that I like, always has, so I'm looking forward to see what this brings on. The image comes from Ikea Livet Hemma and this is their idea of this trend.
I like this style, even if its totally wrong season in Sweden for this, this is so relaxed and still very elegant. Notice the big cushions in mild beige colours. The eating place has a scandinavian look but with a few details that gets an international look. I like the fireplace and the big floor lamp. So cool!
It wasn't much contemporary at the exhibition this time, instead it was this kind of rough oldfashion style that you could see in the show cases. I noticed that a few things was seen in more than one place - the damejeanne, pattern with birds, butterflies and dragonflies, especially birds (see image 4), light pastels and this kind of rough fabric from the seventies.
Wood and pastels was big at the exhibition. I especially noticed this light pink at more than one place. Images from the show cases of Broste, Mateus, Ceannis.
These images are from Formex exhibition in Stockholm that is running at the moment. These were from the designer Synnöve Morks trend show case. This table was my favorite at this exhibition.
Ferm Livings new catalogue for SS2012 shows a lot of inspiration but not much news. The colours for the season seems to be grey, wood and splashes of pastels.
Sometimes I get nice mails and tips. This is one of them, great design in graphical black and withe by Jennie Johnson. The collection is called 'Figure it out' and comes in cups and towels.
I like to jump from one style to another, contemporary decorations to old fashion like this farmers house. I find it charming and interesting. The lamp and Tulip chair in contrast to the simple wooden table, the old armchair and the cushions. Rough and beautiful, still very simple!
